Leadership Development
Get Involved! Develop your strengths! There are four different opportunities to develop your personal leadership abilities. Lead where you are.
Our Leadership Team works collaboratively with each other, the campus minister, & other staff to build & improve NCCM for all students. There are regular opportunities to lead & learn at Newman with week to week initiatives, leadership retreats, & team formations.
The Willowcreek Leadership Summit is in early August where we take 5-10 students to a satellite site for a global conference for church & business leaders alike. The Leadership Summit is a global event, experienced each August by tens of thousands of people across the United States and Canada in more than 140 partner Host Sites. Each fall, the Summit is also videocast in a growing number of locations around the world—157 cities in 57 countries and 24 languages in 2009 alone. Participants continue to report that God is using the Summit to provide a place where leaders can develop their skills, experience moments of hope and encouragement, and hear His unique call.
